Our rear upper shock crossmember is used when relocating the upper shock mounts inside of the frame rails, which is typical when widening the rear wheel tubs.
The crossmember is located between the rear wheel tubs. It should be mounted through the trunk floorpan to provide additional shock travel when ride height is lower than stock.
This C-section crossmember is made from 1/8 inch steel. It adds additional structural integrity to the rear subframe and provides the necessary mounting for inboard upper shock mounts. It can be used on either staggered or non-staggered shock mounting.
